The runway to success in global aviation begins here… We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Group Government & Humanitarian Director in Europe or the US. In this role, you will collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer and Regional Directors to develop comprehensive strategies and long‑term plans for our Group. Purpose of Role
- To develop, in conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer and Regional Director’s requirements, the Government & Humanitarian strategies and long‑term direction for the Group.
- To work closely with the Regional Presidents and Regional Government & Humanitarian Heads to align and coordinate operations and sales activities for the commercial benefit of the Company and to provide solutions where issues arise.
- Working alongside Regional Presidents to help train and develop broking staff with company standard operating procedures.
- To assist the Group by delivering new clients and enhancing existing customers’ business worldwide, by also utilising the supporting teams in the regions.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate global Government & Humanitarian cargo strategies and implement business objectives across the Group in line with Executive Committee and Regional President’s requirements.
- Collaborate with Country Managers and Regional Presidents to develop country‑specific plans, maintain client relationships, and generate new business.
- Monitor progress against strategies and budgets, reporting any issues or concerns to the Chief Commercial Officer and making recommendations for action.
- Report on country and regional activities and adherence to Government & Humanitarian strategies to the Chief Commercial Officer.
- Advise management and broker teams on annual Government & Humanitarian cargo strategies and ensure adherence and smooth operations.
- Provide support, guidance, and streamline processes for Government & Humanitarian teams.
