Duties as Maintenance Fitter:
- Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across all plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards.
- Repair and replace faulty components using welding, mechanical knowledge, and experience.
- General repairs throughout the factory.
Requirements:
- Time-served Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours work when required.
