Chapel Press Ltd is a long-established commercial print business based in Stockport, delivering high-quality print, campaign support and account management for clients across a wide range of sectors. We provide lithographic print, digital print, large format, print finishing, fulfilment and mailing, promotional merchandise, educational print services, hospitality print services and bookbinding support. We are now looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team.

Summary

This is an internal office based, client-facing account management role, suited to someone who understands print, enjoys building relationships, and can manage work from enquiry through to delivery. All client interaction is handled via telephone, email and Microsoft Teams, so strong communication skills and the ability to build trust remotely are key. You will be the key point of contact for your customers, ensuring their work is handled accurately, professionally and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts
  • Handle enquiries, briefs, estimates and job progress updates
  • Communicate with clients daily via phone, email + occasionally Teams
  • Work closely with pre-press, production, finishing and delivery teams
  • Advise customers on print options, materials, formats and timings
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts across our wider services
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication throughout each job
  • Support the smooth delivery of work from initial enquiry to completion

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial print, print management, packaging, signage or a related sector
  • Strong customer service and account management skills
  • Good understanding of litho, digital and/or large format print
  • Confident communicator, particularly over phone and email
  • Organised and able to manage multiple live jobs at once
  • Proactive and detail-focused approach
