Customer Marketing Manager
Are you a Customer Marketing pro with a love for English Sparkling Wine? We are recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced individual to take our brand to the next level.
You will be responsible for developing and leading all Customer Marketing plans and activity which align with Chapel Down company goals, enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive individual with a proven track record in Customer Marketing. If you excel in building relationships and driving results and would like to bring your expertise and passion for wine to our dynamic team, we want to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop our annual Customer Marketing strategy
- Working closely with CMO, Sales Director and senior sales team to develop annual Customer Marketing strategy
- Recommend the right activity in each trade channel to deliver our brand and commercial objectives
- Work closely with the CMO to align on brand messaging
2. Deliver annual Customer Marketing plan
- Create and execute channel activation across all trade channels (Off Trade, On Trade, DTC, Duty Free/Export) to drive visibility, trial and rate of sale
- Create and execute shopper marketing activities across multiple Off Trade retailers
- Create and execute branded merchandise/collateral for our brand home in Tenterden
3. Deliver highly impactful brand assets
- Work with creative partners to deliver brand activation assets, ensuring they are rooted in our brand positioning and visual identity, and leverage our distinctive brand assets
- Work closely with Social Media Manager to amplify Customer Marketing initiatives
- Work with Sales team to ensure all activity is evaluated and delivers strong return on investment
4. Build strong relationships and efficient ways of working
- Build strong relationships with Sales team and spend time in trade, joining customer meetings as appropriate
- Maintain and communicate monthly marketing activity calendar of all Customer Marketing activity
- Represent the brand at relevant consumer/customer events
5. Premiumise brand experience
- Ensure all activity adheres to brand guidelines and conveys the right brand messaging
- Ensure all activity is premium enough to increase ‘High Quality’ and ‘Worth Paying More For’ perceptions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven Customer Marketing experience
- Budget management experience
- Highly numerate with ability to measure and analyse return on investment
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Passion for Wine and deep understanding of the industry
- Experience of briefing creative work and working with brand guidelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
