Role Overview
The
Enterprise Account Executive is an individual contributor responsible for driving revenue growth within a dedicated portfolio of high-potential enterprise accounts across the AEC sector.
The role focuses on expanding Chaos’s footprint within existing accounts through strategic upsell, cross-sell, and solution adoption, while building deep, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Working as part of the global enterprise sales team and reporting to the Director, Enterprise Sales, this role contributes directly to ARR growth targets through disciplined pipeline management and the execution of complex, high-value expansion deals.
This role requires a commercially sharp enterprise sales professional with deep knowledge of AEC workflows and a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Main Responsibilities
- Owns the end-to-end growth strategy for a select portfolio of high-potential AEC accounts (characterized by low current penetration relative to their potential spend).
Develops and executes plans to maximize ARR through strategic upsell, cross-sell, and solution adoption.
- Cultivates and expands relationships with senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned accounts globally, aligning Chaos solutions with their core business objectives and long-term strategic vision.
- Creates and presents compelling ROI and business value analyses to justify significant new investments in the Chaos ecosystem, focusing on demonstrating measurable impact on the client’s AEC workflows.
- Leads the negotiation and closing of complex, multi-year expansion deals globally, navigating diverse procurement and legal processes unique to large AEC firms.
- Identifies opportunities for workflow transformation within client organizations, positioning Chaos as integral to their design and visualization processes.
- Develops and manages a robust, long-term sales pipeline for the assigned portfolio, providing accurate and reliable forecasting for expansion revenue.
- Maintains expertise on global AEC industry trends, digital transformation initiatives, competitive landscapes, and client innovation priorities to proactively identify and seize growth opportunities.
- Job Requirements
- Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, or business development within the AEC sector or an adjacent technology environment.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding expansion and net-new revenue targets in a complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales environment: able to speak to the numbers, what was planned, and what was delivered.
- Proven experience managing and growing a portfolio of large enterprise accounts, with clear ownership of upsell and cross-sell outcomes across long sales cycles.
- Deep familiarity with AEC workflows, digital design and visualisation technologies, including BIM and real-time rendering, and Saa S licensing models.
- Experience negotiating and closing complex, multi-year enterprise contracts, including development of executive-level business cases demonstrating TCO and ROI.
- Required Skills
- Navigates complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with commercial sharpness and discipline: manages long sales cycles without losing momentum, and closes with consistency.
- Builds credible, trusted relationships with C-level and senior executive stakeholders, engaging at the level of business strategy rather than product features.
- Develops rigorous account plans and pipeline strategies, using data and account intelligence to identify where to invest time and where to expand coverage.
- Creates commercial momentum proactively, surfaces new expansion opportunities and builds pipeline rather than waiting for demand to appear.
- Applies intellectual curiosity and second-order thinking to get beneath the surface of a client's needs, uncovering the true business pain points that shape a winning solution.
- Translates complex technical capabilities into clear business value narratives that resonate with both technical users and executive decision-makers.
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy and self-discipline: manages territory, pipeline, and stakeholder relationships without close oversight
- Reads sales data, pipeline metrics, and market signals accurately, and uses that intelligence to prioritise effort and inform forecasting.
