This position is based in Germany or the UK, with hybrid or remote working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location. We are looking for a Finance Transformation Manager to drive the delivery of strategic finance initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP Finance, the role focuses on improving finance processes, systems, and governance across the organization. The position works closely with finance stakeholders globally and partners with the Accounting Director, who leads day-to-day accounting operations. While this role has no direct reports, it requires strong leadership through influence and structured project ownership.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead and deliver cross-functional finance transformation projects from planning through implementation.
- Support the design and rollout of finance tools and technology enhancements, including user adoption and process documentation.
- Improve finance processes, policies, controls, and reporting across the group to support scalable growth.
- Support the Accounting Director with consolidation readiness and key closing activities (month-end / year-end) where needed.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Legal, IT, and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
- Contribute to the development of finance governance standards, project management routines, and best practices.
- Prepare structured project updates, risk assessments, and decision papers for senior finance leadership.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in finance transformation, finance project management, consulting, audit, or corporate finance roles—ideally in an international or fast-growing environment.
- Solid understanding of core finance processes (e.g., consolidation, closing, reporting, treasury/cash flow, intercompany, governance).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on execution mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
