The New Archive is the new Norwich Pop-Up Store and they are looking for a Retail & Marketing Assistant to join the brand for an exciting six-month pop-up residency (with potential ongoing opportunity). This is not a traditional retail role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about fashion, branding, content, community and customer experience, someone excited by the opportunity to work closely within an independent fashion brand and the founder to grow alongside the business.

The role will involve supporting the day-to-day running of the store whilst also assisting with marketing, content creation and brand activations behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities- Retail & Customer Experience
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the pop-up store
- Delivering a warm, elevated customer experience
- Styling customers and supporting sales
- Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentation
- Assisting with stock organisation and replenishment
- Supporting in-store events and activations
- Marketing & Brand Support
- Assisting with content creation for social media
- Capturing behind-the-scenes content in-store
- Supporting with influencer gifting and brand events
- Assisting with community engagement and customer outreach
- Helping execute marketing ideas and creative campaigns
- Supporting with photoshoots, launches and brand projects where required
- Passionate about fashion, interiors, lifestyle and contemporary culture
- Creative with a strong eye for aesthetics
- Confident communicating with customers both in person and online
- Organised, proactive and eager to learn
- Comfortable being hands-on in a fast-moving start-up environment
- An interest in content creation, social media and marketing
- Retail experience is a bonus but not essential
The Opportunity: Whilst the pop-up is initially a six-month position, this role has the potential to continue beyond the store through ongoing involvement with The New Archive’s marketing, content and brand growth as the business expands. This is an opportunity to gain experience working closely within an emerging fashion brand and to become part of the early growth journey of the business.
