Location: Chantry Academy, Ipswich

Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary (Actual): ALT Grade C - £22,106.64 to £22,277.90

We are looking for a Librarian who will help make our library a welcoming and effective hub for pupils and staff, supporting access to resources, maintaining high-quality systems and encouraging positive use of the learning environment. Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the library/resource centre, helping pupils and staff access resources and services.
  • Supervise students using the library and help maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with library technology, administrative tasks and the upkeep of library systems and records.
  • Support the promotion, display and management of books and other learning resources.
  • Provide guidance to library users, resolving routine queries and supporting effective use of resources.
