Changing Creative is looking for a Graphic Designer and a Motion Graphic Designer with sharp taste, strong attention to detail and a good eye for editorial design with a tech edge. We are a China-born creative studio based in London, helping Chinese and global Asian brands land properly in the West. Right now, we’re working across auto, mobile, social and software brands. Outside commercial work, we’re also deeply interested in film, moving image and visual storytelling.

What you bring:

  • A strong sense of taste.
  • Comfortable with:
    • For Graphic Designer:
      • Figma
      • Adobe Creative Suite
      • Deck design, visual systems, key visuals and campaign assets
      • Turning loose ideas into clear, beautiful visual directions
    • For Motion Graphic Designer:
      • CapCut / After Effects / Premiere / Adobe workflow or any tools you like
      • Motion design, kinetic typography, transitions and social-first edits
      • A good sense of pacing, rhythm and visual storytelling
      • The ability to make things feel polished, not just animated
  • For both roles:
    • Curiosity about AI generation and how it can support creative work
    • Willingness to explore lightweight tools like Jitter, Spline, Image 2.0, Seedance.
    • A sharp eye for references, trends and visual culture
    • The ability to work fast without making things feel cheap
    • No big ego.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll work closely with us on ideas, proposals and visual execution. Day to day, that may include:
    • Discussing creative concepts and turning them into proposal decks
    • Building moodboards, visual directions and campaign routes
    • Designing pitch decks, key visuals, social assets and launch materials
    • Developing visual systems for brands in auto, tech, mobile and social platforms
    • Creating motion tests, animated assets, title cards, transitions and short edits
    • Helping shape the visual language of a young studio from the ground up
    • Working across commercial projects, cultural ideas and film-related experiments
    • Some days will be polished. Some days will be messy. That’s part of building something early.

How we work:

  • We work flexibly, mostly online, with occasional meetings in central London.
  • We care more about the quality of your eye than the size of your CV. A strong portfolio matters more than a long list of agencies.
  • Freelance, part-time and project-based setups are all open.

Language:

This is a Mandarin-speaking role. Many of our clients communicate in Mandarin, so you’ll need to be comfortable discussing ideas, feedback and project details in Mandarin.

Send us:

  • Your portfolio
  • A few lines about yourself
  • Your availability
  • Your day rate or project rate, if you have one
