POSITION INFORMATION
The part-time Chantecaille Sales Consultant working 2 days a week will be the companies brand ambassador on our brand new counter in John Lewis, Bluewater. The primary responsibilities are to provide outstanding customer service to each customer and to understand individual and team service goals. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining the store environment and operations and assisting with administrate and housekeeping duties.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE
- Achieve the targets set by the company as communicated by the South Regional Sales Manager in respect of items per transaction/average £ sale and mix of business
- Deliver the highest level of service to ensure every customer is provided with an excellent experience at counter.
EVENTS
- Execute events according to the guidelines as directed by the Counter manager/South Regional/Head Office.
STOCK
- Assist daily in stock as well as the rotation of stock and hygiene supplies replenishment and maintain appropriate levels throughout the day
- Communicate low on stock and out of stocks to the Counter Manager.
MAINTAIN THE WORK ENVIROMENT
- Actively participate in cleaning display units, tools and testers throughout the day, and more thoroughly at night to prepare for the next day’s business.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, clean as you go.
- Maintain proper placement and condition of merchandise on counters, shelves and all stock holding areas.
TEAMWORK
- Undertake specific tasks as given by the Counter Manager including administrate paperwork and services.
- Work in conjunction with team members and the Counter manager to ensure of efficient running of the store.
- Give great internal customer service and develop good working relationships with colleagues.
- Maintain high standards of time- keeping ensuring team efficiency.
ADMINISTRATION
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Complete all administration accurately, legibly and on time.
IMAGE
- Maintain personal grooming to the standards as set by the company.
- Maintain the Chantecaille hygiene and image at the counter by cleaning counters, tester stands and displays.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Retail experience, preferably in a customer focused, beauty environment.
- Advanced knowledge of beauty products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Works well within a team, and independently
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting that requires a high degree of multi-tasking, teamwork and adaptability.
- Able to work flexible hours including early and late shifts, weekends & bank holidays
