This role is for the Chantecaille counter in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. The successful candidate will be solely responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day management of the counter. As a standalone Account Manager, you will take full ownership of achieving and exceeding sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining brand standards.
You will be accountable for driving business performance through strong personal sales, clientelling, and commercial awareness. You will ensure the counter is presented to the highest standards at all times and aligned with Chantecaille’s luxury image.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PERFORMANCE
- Achieve targets set by the company, as communicated by the Head of Retail/ Area Sales Manager, including items per transaction, average sale value, and business mix.
- Deliver the highest level of customer service, ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through strong relationship management and follow-up.
MAXIMISE SALES PERFORMANCE AND PRODUCTIVITY
- Take full accountability for achieving all sales and business objectives.
- Demonstrate excellent selling skills and act as a brand ambassador for Chantecaille.
- Proactively seek new sales opportunities both within and outside the store.
- Monitor competitor activity and remain commercially aware to drive business performance.
- Regularly review performance with the Area Sales Manager and implement action plans where required.
COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Maintain regular and effective communication with the Area Sales Manager, sharing updates, performance insights, and any challenges.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with the store management team and colleagues.
EVENTS
- Plan and execute in-store events to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Ensure events are well-prepared, including stock, merchandising, and customer outreach.
- Deliver events in line with marketing guidelines and strive to exceed targets.
- Provide feedback to the Area Sales Manager following events.
STOCK AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Monitor stock levels and ensure key lines are always available.
- Highlight any stock concerns to the Area Sales Manager and agree on action plans.
- Maintain stock rotation and ensure accurate sell-through reporting.
MAINTAIN WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ensure the counter is always clean, organised, and aligned with Chantecaille standards.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, merchandising, and presentation.
- Ensure all displays, testers, and tools reflect the brand’s luxury image.
TEAMWORK
- Work collaboratively with store teams and colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide excellent internal customer service and build strong working relationships.
- Stay informed about product updates, brand initiatives, and company communications.
ADMINISTRATION
- Complete all reporting accurately and in line with deadlines.
- Maintain and update systems such as company devices and reporting tools.
- Analyse business performance and proactively identify opportunities for growth.
IMAGE
- Maintain personal grooming standards in line with company expectations.
