We are currently seeking highly-motivated, passionate Tour Operations Executive to help our customers fulfil their travel aspirations and materialise their travel plans by understanding their requirements and working closely with them to create personalised, seamless itineraries. The goal is to provide quality travel experiences to keep our customers delighted and loyal for future services.
The Tour Operations Executive manages all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support. He/She is service-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills, able to address any vendor management issues. He/She is able to think clearly in emergencies and ensures smooth tour operations in accordance with schedules/itineraries.
Job Description- Liaise with service providers (such as airlines, land operators, hotel) and send reservation requests to service providers.
- Monitor ticketing deadlines and air tickets issuance, GDS tickets stock requisitions.
- Interact with suppliers and business partners to settle and finalise logistical requirements for outbound tour groups.
- Take note of special requests for seat preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Generate Group Sales (GS) and budget costing.
- Generate Exchange Order (EO) to make payment to airlines and operators.
- Handle any operations-related enquiries and assist Sales Team when required.
- Create tour type and tour code using in-house travel system.
- Issue travel documents to customers.
- Provide information, quotations and assistance during destination travel events, if required.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a travel & tourism company.
- Good command of English & Chinese to deal with overseas business partners.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications and computing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be team oriented, extremely motivated, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of CRS, GDS and CRM system (Airline booking system) is an advantage.
- Experience of working in an operational or customer service role in the travel industry is preferred.
