Channel are looking for a Head of Fundraising who wants to work as a part of a high performing entrepreneurial team to raise funds from institutional investors for our asset backed private credit funds. You will be the company’s main person for sourcing new capital in accordance with our capital formation strategies for pooled funds and SMAs. This will be a key team member for meeting our fundraising ambitions and as such it will require an experienced individual who can systematically develop new and existing investor relationships.
Status: Permanent
Working hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week; 8:30am– 5:30pm
Location: Office based; 77 Charlotte Street, London W1Y 4PW with some flexibility to work from home up to 1 - 2 days per week

The opportunity:
This is a senior role in the business where you can have significant influence in the development of the business using your knowledge and experience to raise funds from institutional investors for our asset backed private credit funds. You will be expected to get stuck in from day one:
Responsibilities of the Head of Fundraising are as follows:
- Lead the top the funnel investor engagements to source and cultivate investments in Channel’s products from investors globally (in particular the GCC and developed markets).
- Carefully manage relationships outside the company in the investor community.
- Further develop and implement the company’s strategy for capital raising.
- Negotiate and structure product terms with investors as appropriate, collaborating with colleagues as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders including clients, investors, legal counsel, and other service providers to ensure deals are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Undertake investor aftercare to maintain and improve relationships and identify additional opportunities.
- Provide regular and timely updates, both verbally and/or in writing on the progress of transactions, new business and progress on KPIs, escalating issues as they arise.
- Maintain and regularly update Channel’s CRM system to accurately record transactions details, progress, and development activities.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate investor presentation decks and DDQ documents.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to execute transactions, find new business opportunities and assist in developing Channel’s business.
- Provide training and mentorship to less experienced team members as required.
- Undertake other tasks or projects as required and requested by other members of senior management.
- Develop investor confidence and belief in the company’s vision and strategy.
- Create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties.
- Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team.
- Work with legal counsel and Compliance to ensure compliance on regulatory matters.
- Help grow the business by being proactive and professional with all stakeholders.
- To be an ambassador for our company at all times.
