What will I do:
- Contribute to the successful delivery of the Store business plan
- Lead, inspire and develop your team, ensuring that each colleague feels valued
- Ensure that your store is safe, secure and compliant with legal requirements
- Broad understanding of profit growth
- Effectively develop and execute excellent customer service
- Move and replenish stock
- Process transactions on the checkouts
- Support colleagues as part of a good teamwork ethic
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and uncluttered working area
What do I need:
- Broad understanding of the business and the broader co-operative movement
- Be risk aware in the areas under your responsibility
- Understand and communicate business reporting
- Work in a team and communicate effectively
- Level 3 ILM professional qualification or equivalent and/or 2+ years relevant experience
- Technical skills specific to role
- Previous experience is desired, however, it is not essential as full training will be provided

This role can be physically challenging at times and involves reaching, bending and lifting of stock and standing for long periods of time, but what you give in enthusiasm we’ll return to you in full with training and other benefits and rewards, including colleague discount.
If you have less than five years residency status, you may be considered for full-time roles. If you’ve lived more than five years on the island, you may apply for part-time roles. EU settled status document will be required from those holding an EU passport.
Bonus: Ability to work flexible working patterns as the role may include weekends.
