The successful candidate will support the Pharmacist Manager and Pharmacist to ensure that the pharmacy operates according to all appropriate standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist and coordinate daily dispensary operations, in conjunction with the Pharmacist Manager.
- Effectively execute excellent customer service.
- Dispense medicines, appliances and other medical devices as per Code of Ethics.
- Order pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies and drugs, maintaining stock and storing in a correct and appropriate manner.
- Maintain records such as pharmacy files, patient medication records and registries of controlled drugs.
- Meet all legal compliance and maintain due diligence – General Pharmaceutical Council standards and health & safety.
- Demonstrate the Society Aims and Value and the Management Charter.
Requirements
- An appreciation of the importance of good customer service.
- Good written and verbal English.
- A can-do attitude and a great team player.
- A valid Right to Work document will be required. EU settled status document will be required from those holding an EU passport.
- DBS check is required.
- If you have less than five years residency status, you may be considered for full time roles.
