We are looking for an experienced Marketing Event Manager to cover a period of maternity leave within our EMEA marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior, high-impact role at one of the most dynamic adtech companies in the market.

You will own the full event lifecycle across EMEA, from strategy and planning through to on-site execution and post-event analysis, while collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and local market teams to deliver best-in-class experiences that drive pipeline and brand growth.

We are targeting a start date by 1 June to allow for a thorough, structured handover with our current Senior Marketing Event Manager, EMEA, ensuring full continuity across all planned programmes and supplier relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategy & Planning
    • Develop and execute the EMEA event marketing strategy aligned with global objectives.
    • Own the full event lifecycle - from strategy through execution to post-event analysis.
    • Set and manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple concurrent events.
    • Identify new event opportunities to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth.
  • Logistics & Operations
    • Research, source, and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
    • Plan and manage all event logistics, including venue, catering, travel, and supplier coordination.
    • Lead pre-event planning: agenda, speakers, and delegate experience.
    • Ensure seamless on-site execution and stakeholder coordination.
    • Travel as required for site visits, planning, and event execution.
  • Promotion & Communications
    • Collaborate with our Digital Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to plan and manage the event promotion plan and all associated assets (event landing pages, invitations, LinkedIn posts).
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for integrated event promotion and delivery.
    • Tailor events and communications to local markets and audiences across EMEA.
  • Performance & Partnerships
    • Manage event budgets and drive cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
    • Track and analyse event performance - attendance, engagement, and ROI.
    • Optimise future events based on data, stakeholder feedback, and market insights.
    • Support regional and global marketing initiatives as required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 6+ years proven experience in event marketing, ideally within B2B, adtech, media, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to own the full event lifecycle independently - from strategy to post-event reporting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events across different markets simultaneously.
  • Experience managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and driving cost-efficiency.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - you are confident presenting to senior leadership and working with cross-functional teams.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working across EMEA markets; sensitivity to local cultures and audiences is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and event management software such as Hubspot, Splash Event.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the EMEA region as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS & START DATE
  • Location: Hybrid role (Tue-Thurs on-site) based at our London Office: 19-20 Berners Street with travels to events
  • Reporting: This role reports directly to the Marketing Director, EMEA.
  • Start Date: Early June to allow sufficient time for a comprehensive handover with the current Senior Marketing Event Manager, EMEA.
  • Contract Duration: 6 months renewable (Maternity Cover)
