ChannelCommercials PLC is a leading commercial vehicle dealer providing sales, partsand servicing for DAF Trucks and light commercial vehicles and vans in theSouth-East.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Vehicle Parts Sales Representative based at our Ashford depot. As a member of the Parts Sales team you will sell Van and HGV parts to trade and fleet customers in Kent, East Sussex and the South East London area.
Key responsibilities include: –
- Servicing a group of targeted customers, undertaking regular visits (eg on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis)
- Sourcing new business
- Setting up viable new accounts
- Selling and promoting parts business, maximising potential sales
- Advising the customer on impress stock, stock management/profiles in line with customer demand
- Previous commercial vehicle parts or motor factor experience
- Proven track record of good customer relations
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills (inc presentation skills)
- Understanding of the sales process and the ability to close a sale.
- Driving licence
- Negotiation and problem solving skills
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Well organised with diary management and planning skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and be self-disciplined, as well as part of a team
- Confident & professional manner
- Experience of Impress stock control/management, assessing customer needs
- Experience of working with pricing/discount structures/profit margins
