Account Managers at Channel Bakers are the beating hearts of our account teams. You oversee the day-to-day running of client accounts and ensure that all strategy is executed on time and to budget. As a seasoned Account Manager, you will support a range of diverse clients from new to market through to more strategic complex clients/brands.
You are a strong communicator, taking the lead on day-to-day client interactions and seamlessly sharing information and data with all stakeholders. With acute attention to detail, you oversee budget pacing, customer deliverables, and take any ad hoc client requests in your stride. You are knowledgeable about Search Strategy and Demand Side Platform (DSP) and utilise this knowledge to leverage optimum campaign outputs for our clients.
As the right hand to the Account Director, you support them with strategic client communication, quarterly business reviews, presentations, and developing media plans. Supporting the Associate Account Managers and Advertising Specialists, you ensure they are set up for success with their daily tasks, which include building & optimising campaigns, keyword development, and developing Calls to Action.
You are a skilled Excel user, capable of preparing advertising reports, interpreting data, and developing insights. You can communicate clearly and succinctly in various settings and styles, ensuring messages have the desired effect. You make good decisions based on analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgement, and are often sought out by others for advice or solutions.

Everyday Tasks
- Communicate regularly with clients via calls, email, and meetings to update on campaigns and discuss actions and activities.
- Oversee budget pacing & management, launching campaigns, strategic and tactical optimisation, and all DSP activity.
- Prepare advertising reports, interpret data, and develop insights.
- Carry out brand and product research as required.
- Develop and present media plans to clients.
- Prepare and present client quarterly business reviews with strategic recommendations for growth.
- Support the Account Executive with client Statement of Works (SOW) and Master Service Agreement (MSA) renewals.
- Participate in Beta Programs where applicable.
- Support the Account Director with Creative pitches as required.
- Identify opportunities to scale brands across multiple platforms and services.
- Support the Senior Advertising Manager or Account Director with strategic client needs.
- Train clients on transitional engagements with DSP.
- Handle ad hoc client requests as required.
- Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across Channel Bakers and all key stakeholders.
Key Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of Marketing or Advertising account management experience in a fast-moving, client-facing environment.
- Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Business, or Communications preferred or work-experience equivalent.
- Experience of Amazon Advertising is a must; exposure to Demand Side Platform (DSP) is a bonus.
- Business fluency in 2+ market relevant languages (including English).
- Experience of working within a high-performing team.
- Strong analytical and qualitative skills.
- Proficient user of standard office software (MS Office etc.).
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Proven ability to cultivate and foster new relationships and deepen existing ones.
- Proven track history of driving your own professional and personal development.
