The purpose of this role is to support the People Team by producing analytical insight that enables the team to deliver on our strategic priorities and helps shape strategic direction for our leadership and Executive teams. This role has a strong data and analytical component, requiring building and maintaining effective data sets and the dissemination and reporting of results, interpretations, and implications to stakeholders with varying levels of analytical understanding. The post holder will proactively drive the improvement, implementation, and integration of analytics into the People Team, with previous generalist HR experience being beneficial. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic projects and collaborate with other departments and external agencies to ensure consistent reporting methodology within the People Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide analytical support for projects and initiatives during a period of significant change at Channel 4.
- Contribute to statistical and graphical content for project reports, focusing on diversity, headcount, and change management.
- Manage market data submission, including preparation, timely delivery, and acting as the key contact for data providers.
- Support job evaluation and compensation analysis for the Reward Lead.
- Create and embed standardized reporting methodologies, including data presentation, management, auditing, and governance.
- Develop and deliver HR reports and queries aligned with the People and business strategy through stakeholder consultation.
- Ensure HR data aligns with core business data.
- Interpret results to identify strategic themes, risks, and opportunities using internal and external data.
- Perform predictive and prescriptive analysis using statistical techniques to provide actionable insights.
- Utilize technology to enhance data analysis and presentation.
- Share best practices to improve data literacy and confidence within the People Team.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Extensive experience in analyzing information, deriving insights, and making recommendations.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, DAX, and MS Office.
- Highly numerate with the ability to explain calculations and concepts clearly.

- Proven experience in data analysis and data modeling.
