The Streaming department is responsible for the strategy, development, and operation of our digital streaming platform, delivering high-quality, on-demand content to audiences across multiple devices and markets. The team drives innovation in user experience, content delivery, and platform technology, ensuring our streaming service remains competitive and aligned with evolving consumer expectations.
Working cross-functionally with technology, marketing, content and editorial, commercial and insights, the department is at the forefront of digital transformation enabling the business to reach new audiences and maximize engagement in a rapidly changing media landscape as part of our FAST Forward strategy.
Channel 4 is evolving its operating model to accelerate streaming‑led growth. This role ensures the organisation is ready; culturally, operationally, and behaviourally, to adopt new ways of working across the digital and streaming teams. You will enable, test and embed new ways of working; embedding new rhythms and rituals, decision‑making frameworks and support the development of the mindset and behaviours needed for a modern, streaming first organisation.
As a highly facilitative individual contributor, you will work at both breadth and depth, shaping cross‑functional alignment at the operating model level while also driving detailed, on‑the‑ground implementation and adoption. This role will work in partnership with the Business Change Project Manager who will own the delivery plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the Business Transformation Director and other senior leaders to embed meaningful and sustained change across the organisation.
- Partner with senior leaders to reinforce governance rhythms, end‑to‑end workflows, and decision‑making structures.
- Implement, test, and evolve ways of working and decision rights across digital and streaming teams.
- Facilitate sessions to clarify key decisions, accountabilities, and role boundaries as part of operating model adoption.
- Run high‑impact workshops, retrospectives, and alignment sessions that build clarity, capability, and confidence.
- Create practical tools, playbooks, and guidance materials that help teams operate effectively within the new model.
- Maintain and evolve operating model artefacts such as process maps and RAPIDs documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and longevity.
- Develop and deliver targeted communications and engagement plans that support adoption.
- Shape and enhance the end‑to‑end employee experience with a strong focus on new joiners and internal movers, ensuring cultural expectations are clear and consistent.
- Work with the People Partner and LT to integrate mindset and behaviour expectations into onboarding, leadership development and team rituals.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Proven experience in change readiness and operating model implementation.
- Exceptional facilitation skills, capable of unlocking alignment in complex stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of process mapping, operating model design, and decision‑making frameworks (ideally RAPIDs).
- Demonstrated experience embedding new behaviours and ways of working.
- Ability to simplify complexity and communicate clearly across all organisational levels.
- High emotional intelligence and a collaborative, people‑centred approach.
- Familiarity with behavioural change methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci, nudge‑based approaches).
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Understanding of agile operating models and cross‑functional product structures.
- Coaching and training experience, supporting teams through change.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in business, technology, or related field; certifications in change management).
- Experience in media, streaming, digital product, or technology‑led organisations.
