Department Overview

Channel 4’s Finance department acts as a trusted advisor, supporting decision-making through insightful analysis and accurate reporting, ensuring financial control and compliance for sustainability.

Role Purpose

The SFM – Group Reporting & Control role, within Group Finance, leads a team of 15, supporting financial discipline, reporting, stakeholder communication, process improvement, and system transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, including internal and external processes, audits, statutory accounts, and compliance with sustainability reporting.
• Lead management accounting efforts, including month-end processes and consolidation.
• Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring key controls are monitored and embedded.
• Drive systems transformation, developing reporting requirements and process improvements.
• Lead and develop the team, fostering a culture of learning and diversity.

Additional Information

Starting salary from £99,969. Benefits include private medical, pension, life assurance, and hybrid working arrangements.
