The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

The key function of the Sales Department is to generate the maximum amount of revenue from Channel 4’s programmes and products and on behalf of UKTV and Discovery’s advertising opportunities. The Campaign Operations Team is responsible for the creation and delivery of maximum revenue across all means of viewing.

The purpose of the Campaign Assistant role within the Campaign Operations team is to book and administer both Linear and Digital campaigns in conjunction with the Airtime Sales team. This will be done under the guidance of a Campaign Executive. The Campaign Assistant will help the Campaign Executive in all aspects of delivery and monitoring of deals to ensure the most efficient delivery of deals across all revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop a thorough understanding of all trading aspects of the Channel 4 revenue flow.
  • To develop a thorough knowledge of all Linear and Digital booking systems.
  • To monitor the delivery levels of all Digital and Linear campaigns on a daily, weekly, monthly basis highlighting any anomalies.
  • To ensure all Digital and Linear activity is booked and adheres to the internal booking cycle.
  • To understand and prioritise any late Linear or digital problems highlighted by Airtime Sales.
  • Problem-solving throughout the month to maximise revenue for the channel.
  • Develop relationships with counterparts across all C4 Departments (including Airtime Sales & Traffic) to ensure conflicting demands are met across all revenue streams.
  • Communicates both verbally and in writing with all internal departments across all disciplines.
  • Resolves routine airtime and digital problems at a campaign level.
  • Escalate more complex problems to line management.
  • Prioritise workload in conjunction with Campaign Operations Executives.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Experience of using online systems.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to strict deadlines.
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Relevant experience in a TV Trafficking or campaign team role is a benefit.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous experience of carrying out administrative duties.

Relationship Management:

  • Experience in building and maintaining good internal & external working relationships in order to support efficient working and maximise revenue.
  • Liaises continually with their exec and line manager team to ensure all time-sensitive tasks are covered.
