As a Social Media Apprentice at Channel 4’s 4Studio, you will work closely with the Social Strategist and the broader 4Studio team to build and manage Channel 4’s social media presence across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, Snapchat and TikTok. The role is based in our Leeds national hub and offers the chance to work in a diverse, inclusive environment and to contribute to the national and regional social media strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage and build Channel 4’s social media presence across all platforms.
- Learn the full production process from idea to publication – briefing assets, editing videos, writing copy, etc.
- Create and publish content such as videos, images and thumbnails.
- Manage the social media calendar for key cultural moments and events.
- Analyze content performance, assist with testing and reporting.
- Support day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
- Research competitors and analyze social media trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Engage with Channel 4 audiences in community management.

Qualifications required

- Content Creator Level 3 – 15 months.
- Full‑time with 60% office, 40% remote.
