The C4 Apprenticeship Programme offers full‑time training in social media content creation and distribution at Channel 4. Apprentices will spend 60% of the week in 4Studio and 40% working from home, receiving workshops, coaching, and occasional boot camps. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the 4Studio team in coordinating, managing and expanding Channel 4’s presence across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify, Snapchat, and TikTok.
  • Learn the production process, handling briefings, editing video, creating copy, and managing assets.
  • Create and publish social media content, including videos, images, and thumbnails.
  • Maintain a calendar of key cultural moments and events, generating engagement ideas.
  • Analyse content performance, assist with testing and reporting.
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative and ad‑hoc support.
  • Research competitors and key players’ social channels.
  • Build and nurture relationships with internal departments and external partners.
  • Manage community engagement across C4’s social platforms.
  • Stay current on social media trends and contribute ideas.

Apprenticeship Details

  • Qualification: Level 3 Content Creator.
  • Duration: 15 months.
  • Training: Workshop, tutorials, webinars, coaching, boot camps.
  • Salary: £26,742 per annum starting year.
  • Hybrid working: 60% office, 40% remote (future updated to 60/40 pattern).
