Channel³ is a specialist health and care consultancy that improves and saves lives. We make Prevention First a reality, helping health and care systems act earlier, join up services, and use digital and data to keep people well for longer. We partner with national bodies, local systems and frontline leaders to turn digital ambition into measurable results: improving flow, freeing up capacity and enabling more people to live independently. As a consultancy, we move clients beyond implementation to lasting transformation, redesigning how systems work and the impact they achieve. This is a pivotal moment for health and care. The challenge is no longer strategy, it’s delivery. We’re growing to meet that challenge.
To help achieve this vision, we are looking to further strengthen our team with an experienced Principal Consultant who brings both a track record of working with healthcare organisations to define, design and implement digital solutions that enable performance improvement and transformation in healthcare service delivery, as well as experience of leading delivery teams and building follow on work through delivery excellence.
You will have a proven track record in shaping and delivering technology‑enabled change programmes within the NHS, whether working with national bodies, ICSs, or provider organisations. For this role, we want to hear from candidates with a strong track of implementing clinical systems, and particularly SystmOne with an emphasis on configuration.
You will bring a deep understanding of the end‑to‑end programme lifecycle for Electronic Patient Record deployments, covering business case development, procurement, solution design, implementation, optimisation and structured change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR). We are especially interested in individuals with hands‑on experience or specialist expertise in one or more EPR‑adjacent domains, including:
- Primary Care, Community and Hospital Clinical Systems
- Patient Engagement Platforms & Portals
- Screening and Diagnostics
- Workflows and Integrations
- Capacity & Demand Management Tools
- Shared Care Record Systems (ShCR)
- Pathway Information Management & Flow Tools
- Clinical AI / Decision Support and Automation Tooling
We are looking for a Principal Consultant that can work with clinical and admin stakeholders, demonstrate an ability to translate clinical and operational needs into scalable digital solutions, and who understand the realities of delivering complex change in frontline clinical environments.
You will have a clear understanding of benefits realisation and return on investment and understand how effective configuration and implementation of clinical systems can improve outcomes for patients, staff, and systems. Whether your background is rooted in digital, operational, or strategic roles, what matters is your ability to shape, lead and deliver complex technology-enabled change initiatives within healthcare.
