Join Us as a M365 Trainer

The Microsoft 365 trainer role sits within Strategy and Change and is focused on creating and delivering engaging training sessions that delight our customers and equip them with knowledge of not only the M365 tools but solid foundations in best practice and ways of working within M365 as a suite of applications.

As a Microsoft 365 trainer, you will be responsible for engaging with our clients, to develop and create world-class training discovery and plans, engaging content and deliver their training needs to support them with the adoption of Microsoft 365 technologies. You will also work with our internal teams to, develop and design training that can be added to our catalogue that aligns to the evergreen nature of M365.

This role requires someone who has extensive and proven experience in a training delivery and content creation role, who loves to teach and who also thrives on learning new skills themselves.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery:

  • Conducts end-to-end Microsoft 365 training sessions, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with participant needs.
  • Utilises various training delivery methods (e.g., virtual, in-person) to facilitate learning.

Content Creation:

  • Develops and updates training materials, presentations, and guides for M365 tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot etc.).
  • Collaborates with internal teams to tailor training content specific to client requirements.

Product Knowledge and Adoption:

  • Maintains deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and regularly updates training to reflect new features and functionalities.
  • Drives user adoption by demonstrating the practical applications of M365 tools in daily work scenarios.

User Support and Feedback Collection:

  • Provides post-training support to users, addressing queries and troubleshooting issues related to M365 tools.
  • Collects participant feedback to refine and enhance future training sessions.

Training Evaluation:

  • Measures the effectiveness of training programs by tracking user adoption and knowledge retention post-training.
  • Provides reports and insights on training impact, using data to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the programs.

Change Management:

  • Supports Change Management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during M365 rollouts.
  • Encourages the use of best practices in M365 adoption and integrates these into training sessions.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Presentation & Communication:

  • Proficient in delivering engaging and interactive presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts clearly.

Microsoft 365 Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and their business applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical use cases for different client industries.

Training Needs Analysis:

  • Ability to identify training gaps and develop targeted learning plans to address specific skill development needs.

User Adoption & Change Management:

  • Proven experience in increasing user adoption through tailored training and support.

Feedback & Improvement:

  • Proactive in gathering feedback and making continuous improvements to training content and delivery.
