Role Overview
This role is focused on Data & AI solution architecture and engineering, with strong emphasis on Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, and AIânative solution design. You will operate as a clientâfacing AI consultant and builder, leading engagements from discovery through to production delivery. This is not an advisoryâonly role, you'll be expected to design and implement scalable, secure, AIâdriven solutions grounded in modern data platforms. While Power Platform and Copilot remain important, they are extensions of the data and AI architecture, not the core focus of this role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading endâtoâend AI and data platform delivery (Discover, Design, Deliver, Deploy, Drive)
- Designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric solutions, including:
- Lakehouse, data warehousing, and data pipelines
- Dataflows Gen2 and semantic models
- Enterpriseâgrade Power BI reporting on Fabric
- Model development, training, and deployment
- MLOps, experiment tracking, and lifecycle management
- Azure AI Foundry
- Copilot Studio (for agent orchestration and business workflows)
- Data strategy and AI adoption
- Architecture tradeâoffs and roadmap planning
- Integrating across Azure services, APIs, Microsoft 365, and thirdâparty platforms
Required Experience & Skills
Essential
- 5+ years delivering data, AI, or cloud solutions in clientâfacing environments
- Strong handsâon experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:
- Lakehouse, warehouses, pipelines, and semantic models
- Data modelling and analytics architectures
- Data pipelines and transformation patterns
Desirable
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry (prompt flows, grounding, safety controls)
- Experience with Copilot Studio or conversational AI platforms
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or TypeScript
- API integrations and microservices
- Understanding of MLOps and model lifecycle management
- Experience integrating Power Platform into broader AI and data solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and identity/security models
- Experience with enterprise data governance and compliance frameworks
