About the Service

Newcastle Sanctum provides safe dispersed accommodation for those fleeing domestic abuse. Those we support are often unable to access mainstream refuge due to a variety of reasons. Our team provide specialist one to one and group support to those accessing our service. Compassion and drive are key attributes of our team, advocating and empowering those receiving support to move on with a life free from abuse.

About the Job

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Support Worker to join our Newcastle Sanctum team. Working alongside our Outreach team you will support those who are residing in dispersed property to manage their tenancies and with a move on plan. Responsible for the day to day management of the properties as well as providing specialist advice and guidance to those in Sanctum around benefits, housing applications and managing their tenancies. As part of the team you will be required to attend joint appointments and be a point of contact for those we support. Please note due to the nature of this role we can only accept female applicants.
