Overview

The energy crisis, rising energy prices and climate change continue to affect households across rural Scotland. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Home Energy Scotland Highlands & Islands team, providing advice and support to householders across Orkney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear, independent and impartial advice on energy efficiency, renewable technologies and affordable warmth to help people reduce energy costs and carbon emissions while keeping homes warm.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, supporting householders across Orkney.
  • Travel occasionally, including overnight stays, to households as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Excellent communicator with good numeracy skills and an understanding of domestic energy use.
  • Must live within the Orkney local authority area.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight stays.

Training & Development

Full training will be provided, including coaching and mentoring.
