Change Specialists is expanding its UK-based Associate Director community, and we are looking for experienced, well-connected professionals who are ready for a fresh challenge. This isn’t a typical job. It’s a chance to apply your experience, insight, and network in a role that is impactful and commercially rewarding. If you are financially independent, curious, and still want to make a difference at the top level, this opportunity might appeal. Your earnings will be unlimited and will be directly linked to your success; this opportunity isn’t paid on a fixed day rate basis.

We are a well-established change management consultancy operating across the UK and Europe. Our clients include large corporates and ambitious SMEs, all of whom rely on specialist support to make their change programmes succeed.

As an Associate Director, you won’t be delivering services day-to-day. Instead, you will work with your clients to understand their challenges and coordinate the right resources from our network to make change happen. Your role is about driving outcomes, not handling day-to-day operations.

This role is about influence, impact, and results. You will engage your network, identify opportunities, and help organisations solve complex challenges. Your earnings are uncapped, reflecting the value you create. You will have the full support of our core team, with access to tools, templates, and insights to help you have meaningful conversations with your contacts. The focus is on leveraging your experience and network to deliver real value for clients – and for yourself.

We are seeking professionals who have an established network of senior leaders and decision makers, and who enjoy building and nurturing strong relationships. You will be someone who can identify opportunities and translate them into tangible outcomes. Commercial awareness and business development experience are important – you will be shaping bids, proposals, and opportunities - but equally important is judgment and credibility. You will understand the challenges organisations face and be able to craft solutions in collaboration with our team.

Joining our Associate Director community, you will broadly have the freedom to manage your time (with agreed touchpoints each week or month). We understand there is more to life than work, and that you may have other professional or personal commitments – we will help ensure you maintain the right balance. Our core team is here to support your success. You will have access to a range of tools, documents, presentations, and artefacts to support your conversations and business development activities.

We pride ourselves on doing the simple things well. Our culture thrives on the contributions of all our people and those who work alongside our team. We never settle for what is easy; we aim to do what’s right. We are committed to building an inclusive culture where difference is valued and respect is central, helping everyone perform at their best.

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you would enjoy, apply via this posting or contact our Talent Lead, Karen Dykes, directly if you prefer. We will ask you for a recent CV and some basic details. If your skills match what is detailed above, we will be in touch with further information on our Associate Director model. If there is interest to continue, we will invite you to meet with some of our key business leads. If successful, the final step will be to complete the onboarding process and background checks. Once your offer has been signed, you will be invited to join our Associate Director community, and you will be ready to start working with our core team to identify opportunities within your existing network.
