Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of a portfolio of clients, maintaining a high standard of service and acting as a key point of contact.
- Oversee and support the management of team portfolios, contributing to effective workflow planning and resource allocation.
- Deliver against agreed revenue and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Support the development of the firm’s people strategy by mentoring, coaching, and inspiring junior team members.
- Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit assignments.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP).
- Provide practical advice to clients on regulatory matters, including tax, VAT, UK legal requirements, and principles of good governance.
- Support Partners on ad hoc assignments and projects as required.
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
- Proven experience managing audit clients across a range of industries.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members.
- Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills.
- Experience managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Confidence in dealing directly with senior stakeholders and business owners.
