Change Recruitment are seeking a motivated and dedicated Production Operative to join our night shift team, working exclusively on Fridays. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring smooth production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. As a Production Operative on the night shift, you will play a vital role in supporting efficient operations, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to the overall success of our production lines.
Hours of work- 9pm-6am
Salary - £13.21 per hour breaks paid
Pay schedule - Weekly pay (week in arrears)
Responsibilities
Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently during the night shift, following all safety guidelines and procedures
Assist with assembly tasks to meet production targets
Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specified standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
Support inventory management by accurately handling materials and supplies within the warehouse environment
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems as needed
Complete shift documentation, including production logs, quality reports, and safety checklists
Skills
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand machinery operation and maintenance
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks
Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or warehouse setting
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling and storage procedures
Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards are upheld
