Are you an experienced Network Engineer? Do you have knowledge of Firewall (Palo Alto), VPN, and Cisco F5? Would you like to work for a global company that operates from prestigious offices in the centre of Glasgow? It’s hybrid working, 3 days in the office.
My client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis (PAYE - salaried). THIS IS NOT A DAILY RATE CONTRACT.
You will be providing day-to-day business as usual tasks supporting the backend IT systems and providing hands-on 3rd line support for their Network infrastructure.
Your skills will include:
- Strong troubleshooting skills of complex network, system, and/or security problems.
- Demonstrable in-depth network experience, especially in the design and implementation of multi-site LANs and WANs.
- Comprehensive experience of Cisco switching, Cisco Nexus 3k and 9k.
- Solid understanding of routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
- In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies with experience of global Aruba deployments.
- In-depth experience with leading Firewall technology Palo Alto and Fortinet.
- Strong understanding of network security to implement Layer 7 technologies.
- Experience of MPLS networks and VPN networks.
- Knowledge of Solarwinds NPM, NTA, Cisco Prime, F5 LTM, GTM, APM, and BIG-IP client.
