Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of clients, maintaining a high standard of service and acting as a key point of contact.
  • Oversee and support the management of team portfolios, contributing to effective workflow planning and resource allocation.
  • Deliver against agreed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Support the development of the firm’s people strategy by mentoring, coaching, and inspiring junior team members.
Day-to-Day Duties
  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit assignments.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP).
  • Provide practical advice to clients on regulatory matters, including tax, VAT, UK legal requirements, and principles of good governance.
  • Support Partners on ad hoc assignments and projects as required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
  • Proven experience managing audit clients across a range of industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members.
  • Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple assignments and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Confidence in dealing directly with senior stakeholders and business owners.
