Infrastructure Team Lead (12-Month FTC) Glasgow City Centre, Hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office. I’m looking for an experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to join our Glasgow-based IT function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled infrastructure team, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in delivering critical services across our global organisation.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Infrastructure team, ensuring the successful delivery of services across Server Compute, Network, and Collaboration platforms.
- Work closely with stakeholders and fellow team leaders to prioritise workloads, manage resources, and continuously improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and support Infrastructure team members.
- Manage work allocation, capacity planning and prioritisation.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Oversee change management activities to minimise business impact.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Manage BAU activities, Jira backlogs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a key escalation point and drive issues through to successful resolution.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and wider IT teams.

- Proven team leadership and people management experience, ideally within a global organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing operational escalations and delivering positive outcomes.
- Experience delivering BAU initiatives and small internal projects.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- A passion for service improvement and operational excellence.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands effectively.
