This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of a firm’s CASS framework within a fast-growing, regulated financial services business. You’ll sit at the centre of regulatory operations, working closely with senior leadership, the Board, regulators and auditors. The role offers genuine influence, with responsibility for shaping, scaling and strengthening the CASS function as the business continues to grow.
You’ll take end-to-end responsibility for CASS oversight, governance and strategy across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the CASS function, ensuring robust governance and regulatory compliance
- Interpreting and embedding CASS requirements across the business in a scalable way
- Designing and running the CASS governance framework, including committee leadership
- Managing CASS risk, including oversight of incidents and breaches
- Acting as the senior contact for regulators, auditors and external stakeholders
- Building and developing a high-performing CASS team
- Advising senior leadership and the Board on regulatory risk and change
This role will hold the relevant CASS operational oversight certification.

- Significant experience leading CASS within an FCA-regulated environment
- Background in fintech, platforms, custody, wealth or similar highly regulated businesses
- Strong technical knowledge of CASS with the ability to apply it pragmatically
- Experience engaging with regulators, auditors and senior stakeholders
- Proven leadership capability, including building and scaling teams
