Our client is seeking a motivated, part-qualified Assistant Accountant to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently studying for ACCA, ACA, or CIMA and is eager to gain practical experience in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will work alongside several trainees and qualified accountants, gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of corporate and fund clients while assisting in the delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quarterly management accounts across a range of entities
- Assisting with VAT returns and ensuring compliance with deadlines
- Processing invoices, investment and distribution payments, and expenses
- Bookkeeping and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple clients
- Supporting the preparation of financial statements, including notes
- Assisting with drawdown and distribution notices for fund entities
- Liaising with auditors and tax advisers, including responding to audit queries
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
About You:
- Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or actively studying
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
