We are urgently looking for 2 experienced accounts payable/purchase ledger assistants to join one of our clients on a full time temporary basis for an assignment which is likely to be a minimum of 4 months. You will be joining an established accounts payable team, reporting in to the Manager and taking responsibilty for full accounts payable processing and supplier query resolution for your accounts. We are looking for individuals who are capable of taking responsibility for their own workload,and after training working independently whilst remote from the office. Completing tasks with high levels of attention to detail and proactively problem solving to ensure supplier relationships and commercial operations run smoothly. Key duties will include: Use of internal system software for validation of invoices and POs for accuracy and compliance. Resolving issues to ensure payment to agreed terms. Processing payments and credit notes adhering to payment policies. Receipt and reconciliation of supplier statements. Creation of journals. Communication of supplier issues internally to ensure prompt resolution. Confidently liaising with suppliers via email, phone and Teams and use of multiple systems .
