Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Software Services Analyst (ERP) role for a software development business based in Bridgwater. This role is crucial in supporting the businesses software users and to ensure that client requirements and expectations are delivered to a high standard. To do this you will work very closely with customers to understand how they use the software solution and what challenges they are facing. Acting truly as a consultant and looking at things from an operational perspective.The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems. Perhaps coming from an operational role within business with good ERP exposure, or alternatively a software support background.Duties:

  • Provide pre and post-sales support to clients and colleagues on the use and operation of the software products by telephone, email, remote working, conference calls and face to face.
  • Support in the delivery of projects and solutions which employ the businesses software solutions, including working on-site at customer premises.
  • Ensure that all work is adequately accounted for under a customer’s service contract or that work is appropriately costed and billed.
  • Work within the company’s software services team and with other colleagues to analyse, research and provide solutions, including proposals for future solutions to meet client enquiries and needs.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive business relationship with clients, being attentive to further income generating opportunities.
  • Ensure software documentation database and training material is kept up to date, structured and available to all staff who need access.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports as required.
