Change Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical panel/Wireman/wirewoman to work on behalf of our small but busy, expanding client. The company we are recruiting for offer a wide range of electrical control system support. They have worked with many industries including print, wind farm, food, converting and many more Offering the following services: – Complete system design – Complete panel build – On-site installation – Software writing and commissioning (motion control, PLC, visualisation e.t.c.) -Turnkey Solutions -Assembly Work -Electrical Design. You will be required to perform various tasks in a busy manufacturing production facility. This role requires a high level of manual dexterity as the main activity involves detailed electrical wiring and assembly, ranging from control panels to smaller component installation. Previous experience in Panel Wirers, or electrical assembly is advantageous. This is a temp or temp to perm role. Main responsibilities of the role include: Ability to read and understand technical electrical (control and power) schematic drawings and wire the equipment to these drawings, including: Control panel / cabinet assembly and wiring, including PLC systems Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete wiring tasks. Understanding of pneumatic systems Adhering and working to health and safety legislations Adherence to company policies and procedures Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area Complete given tasks in an efficient, fast and friendly manner Highly organised with excellent attention to detail To carry out HV and EHV cable jointing and terminations on systems between 33kV and 400kV. To carry out earthing and cable installations Take lead on Installation projects, reporting to Site Manager and/or Project Manager Mentor and coach less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledge Assist with site breakdowns and investigative procedures and fault-finding. Complete all reports as requested, including but not limited to: Test Sheets and Results, Quality Assurance reports, HSE reports and all other operational reports/checksheets required, e.g. Daily Allocation, Daily Briefings with Team etc. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4pm Friday Early finish 7:30am-1pm Salary- Dependant on experience If you are a motivated individual with a passion for electrical work, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Wireman/woman JBRP1_UKTJ
