Change Mental Health is seeking a new Director of Finance to support the delivery of the charity’s vision and provide strategic financial leadership as the organisation continues to enjoy an exciting period of growth, increasing in scale, ambition and impact. This is a new role for the charity reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serving as a key member of the Change Mental Health Senior Leadership Team, and holds responsibility for the financial health and sustainability of Change Mental Health.
You will lead and deliver the finance function of the organisation, managing a small team of three to ensure that our financial systems, controls, and strategies meet Change Mental Health’s own high standards as well as all regulatory and reporting obligations. You will be a visible leader, attending Board meetings and providing the financial insight necessary to drive strategic decision-making and long‑term planning. You will manage our audit and ensure our statutory compliance. You will ensure we have robust financial controls in place and most importantly, use your skills and experience to deliver the greatest possible impact for every pound raised and spent.
