We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Security Engineer to support a high-priority programme of cloud security remediation and service improvement.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong AWS security knowledge, practical AWS Security Hub experience and expert-level Terraform capability.
Key responsibilities
- Review and remediate security findings across AWS.
- Configure and improve AWS Security Hub.
- Implement security improvements through Terraform.
- Support service recovery and controlled reinstatement activities.
- Assist with secret and credential rotation.
- Review and cleanse repositories where required.
- Strengthen AWS security controls and prevent recurring issues.
- Work with internal teams and relevant external parties.
- Document completed remediation and technical changes.
Essential experience
- Strong hands-on AWS engineering and security experience.
- Practical AWS Security Hub expertise.
- Expert Terraform and infrastructure-as-code capability.
- Experience implementing security remediation in live environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS identity, access and security controls.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
Experience supporting service recovery, secrets management or repository security would be beneficial but is not essential.
