We are recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to lead and develop the culinary operation at a major hospitality and events venue in the York area. This is a unique opportunity for a chef who wants more than simply running a kitchen. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping menus, developing food concepts, improving standards and influencing the future direction of the food offering across the venue.
The operation delivers a diverse range of hospitality experiences including conferences, corporate events, private functions, executive hospitality, premium dining, retail catering and large-scale event catering. Reporting to the Regional Executive Chef, you will have genuine autonomy to develop the culinary side of the business whilst working closely with a supportive senior leadership team.
This role would suit a hands-on Head Chef who enjoys being operational, leading from the front and driving continuous improvement rather than sitting behind a desk.
