Change Hospitality is currently recruiting for an ambitious and talented Junior Sous Chef on behalf of our client, a high-end, authentic Italian restaurant based in Notting Hill.

The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the senior kitchen team to ensure the smooth running of daily service while maintaining the restaurant's high culinary standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Working confidently across every section of the kitchen , with the ability to jump in wherever needed.
Preparing and delivering high-quality, authentic Italian dishes with precision and consistency.
Maintaining excellent standards of food quality, presentation and service.
Leading by example during busy services, keeping calm and organised under pressure.
Supporting and motivating junior members of the brigade.
Ensuring mise en place is prepared to the highest standard ahead of service.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
Contributing to a positive kitchen culture built on teamwork, passion and attention to detail.
Working closely with the senior team to continually improve standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a chef who is passionate about Italian cuisine and understands what it takes to work in a high-end restaurant.
You'll ideally have:
Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
A genuine passion for authentic Italian food and quality ingredients.
The confidence and ability to work across all sections of the kitchen .
Strong technical skills, attention to detail and a commitment to consistency.
The ability to lead by example and support the development of junior chefs.
A positive attitude and a genuine team-first mentality.
The ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen.
A desire to learn, develop and grow within an ambitious culinary team.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who loves what they do, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a team creating amazing Italian food every day.
