We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Director for one of our clients to lead growth for a large-scale, established business with significant expansion plans. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to a proven business winner from an agency environment or large venue/portfolio collection who brings an extensive network and a strong track record of converting opportunities into long-term revenue. The role offers a unique opportunity to potentially build and establish a small-scale agency function within the business, leveraging existing infrastructure and brand strength. You will be a proven leader who will sit within the SEM team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, agency, and international markets.
- Leverage an established little black book of DMCs, Agents, Direct corporates and strategic partners.
- Proactively generate and convert leads into confirmed revenue.
- Lead and manage tender submissions for venues and pitches for new events business.
- Negotiate terms and pricing to maximise profitability and long-term value.
