My client is a well-known catering and events company known for delivering exceptional culinary experiences for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and large-scale functions based in one of Londonβs Unique Venues. With a passion for excellence and a commitment to customer satisfaction, they are looking for a dedicated Events Planning and Operations Manager to join the team and help them to continue to exceed client expectations.
As the Events Catering Manager, you will lead the end-to-end management of all planning and catering operations for events. You will be responsible from when the contract is signed and handed over for full event planning, organizing, and executing catering services, while managing staff, liaising with clients, and ensuring every event runs smoothly and to the highest standard on the day.
- Manage the catering operations for a variety of events, from planning to execution. This includes both being in the office and then operational management of the event on the day.
- Liaise with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and dietary needs.
- Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to design menus and manage food preparation.
- Schedule and oversee catering staff, including hiring, training, and supervising team members.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of food, beverages, and equipment.
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Monitor event budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability of each event.
- Resolve issues quickly and efficiently on event days.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.

- Proven experience in catering or event management (minimum 3 years preferred).
