A prestigious and high-profile organisation is seeking an experienced Deputy Head of Hospitality to support the seamless delivery of five star service within a luxury, fast paced corporate setting. This is a rare opportunity to step into a key leadership role that blends operational oversight with strategic hospitality planning.
As Deputy Head of Hospitality, you will work closely with the Head of Hospitality & Fine Dining to oversee the daily management of a small but elite team. You will play a critical role in ensuring impeccable front of house service, supporting event execution, maintaining food safety standards, and deputising for the Head of Hospitality in their absence.
About the role:
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate and manage a high-performing team of butlers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Drive performance through regular evaluations, goal setting, and professional development. Manage team schedules, coordinate workloads, and ensure optimal staff coverage.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee front-of-house presentation and service standards to ensure a welcoming and polished environment. Collaborate closely with the kitchen team, attend daily kitchen briefings and weekly events meetings to align on service delivery. Ensure the team is fully briefed, trained and equipped to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain outstanding relationships with internal stakeholders, VIPs, and high-level clients. Handle feedback and resolve service issues with diplomacy and professionalism. Champion a culture of world-class customer service throughout the department.
- Deputising Duties: Support the Head of Hospitality with departmental strategy, budgeting, procurement, and stock management. Take charge in their absence, ensuring continuity of service and leadership presence.
About You:
- A proven background in a senior hospitality position, ideally within a corporate or luxury environment.
- Strong experience in team leadership, event coordination, and front-of-house operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a proactive approach to service delivery.
- Professional in demeanour, with strong tech proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality software).
