Commis Chef - Education Catering - Monday to Friday Looking for a kitchen role that gives you your evenings and weekends back?
Change Hospitality is looking for a Commis Chef to join a busy school catering team in Lytham St Annes on a long-term assignment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional kitchen but wants the consistency of weekday, daytime hours.
You'll be working Monday to Friday, 7:00am3:30pm, with regular shifts and no late-night services.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You'll be joining an established kitchen team and helping to deliver a smooth daily food service to the students.
Day to day, you'll be involved with: Preparing fresh ingredients ready for the day's service Helping the chefs with general kitchen preparation Supporting the team during service Maintaining food hygiene, allergen and kitchen safety procedures Working closely with the rest of the brigade to get the job done It's a hands-on position, so we're looking for someone who's happy to get stuck in and be a reliable part of the team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You don't need years of senior-level experience, but you should have previous experience working in a professional kitchen and be comfortable with basic food preparation.
You'll also need: Food Safety Level 2 Food Allergen Awareness Good basic kitchen and knife skills A positive, team-focused attitude Good timekeeping and reliability The ability to work at pace while maintaining good standards As you'll be working within a school environment, an Enhanced DBS is required before starting the assignment.
