Senior Events Catering Operations Manager
Location: Historic Venue, London
Salary: £40,000 per annum + overtime + excellent benefits
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of catered events, from planning through to execution.
- Recruit, schedule, and manage event staffing.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring expectations are exceeded.
- Own and manage event P&Ls, ensuring strong financial control, cost management, and profitability.
- Work closely with chefs, sales, and venue teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation, and attention to detail across all events.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety and licensing.
About You
- Proven experience in a senior operations or catering management role within events, hospitality, or venues.
- A natural people person with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with hands on experience managing P&Ls and budgets.
- Confident and professional in client-facing situations, with excellent communication skills.
- Exceptionally organised with outstanding attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
