Senior Events Catering Operations Manager

Location: Historic Venue, London

Salary: £40,000 per annum + overtime + excellent benefits

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Events Catering Operations Manager to lead the delivery of exceptional catering and hospitality operations at one of London’s most iconic historic venues.

This is a senior, hands-on role requiring a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced events environment, has outstanding people skills, and takes pride in flawless execution of events seated for up to 200 and standing 400 pax.

You will be responsible for overseeing multiple high-profile events, managing large teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring all operations are delivered to the highest standards while meeting commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead and manage the delivery of catered events, from planning through to execution.

-Recruit, schedule, and manage event staffing.

-Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring expectations are exceeded

-Own and manage event P&Ls, ensuring strong financial control, cost management, and profitability

-Work closely with chefs, sales, and venue teams to ensure seamless service delivery

-Maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation, and attention to detail across all events

-Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety and licensing

About You

-Proven experience in a senior operations or catering management role within events, hospitality, or venues

-A natural people person with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams

-Strong commercial acumen with hands on experience managing P&Ls and budgets

-Confident and professional in client-facing situations, with excellent communication skills

-Exceptionally organised with outstanding attention to detail

-Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple events and priorities simultaneously

-Flexible to work evenings, weekends
